Spacing convience
I'm working on a piece with a pickup measure.
After altering the "Sytle > General > Measure > Spacing (1=TIght)"
value to 1 to achieve a space where each line contained
4 measures, I came across a line where the legibility required
3 measures on that specific line.
Is there a method to alter the measures in a line?

There are several methods. What do you want, more or fewer measures per line? Attach your score and someone will format it the way you want and explain what they did.

I'd like to dictate line per line.
Ex. 3rd line 3 measures, 4th 5 6th 3 and so on,
without tampering the global setting.
The global per line settings would also be appreciated for posterity.

That helps. To make a measure the last one on a system (line) select the measure (or a note in it) and press the return key on the alpha keyboard. To remove a return, select the measure where it is and press return. In other words, Return toggles a system break.
