Accents not working on MDL instruments

using accents/articulations has no effect on the dynamics of the MDL drumline instruments. Dynamics do change if i use the dynamic letter markings or if i edit velocity through the inspector. I don't remember this being an issue a few months back, might have to do with the Musescore HQ soundfont? Or a setting that i somehow don't know about
