cANNOT INSERT MEASURES.

I am trying to insert 5 measures into a score but instead I get one measure with the number 5 above it. This has never happened before. Any help would be appreciated.

You apparently have enabled multimeasure rests. Press "M" to toggle them back off and then it would be converted back into five individual measures of rest.
