Although when I made my first musical posting MuseScore, I put a notice, here, too, this is really not the right place to attract the MuseScore community -- this is the community for development of the desktop software. You should join groups on MuseScore.com (this is MuseScore.org) relevant to your interests (e.g., piano music, self-taught composers) and post it to A FEW of those. That will attract the commenter s and comments you seek.

Well, this forum, "Made with MuseScore" is there for exactly this purpose. IIRC it predates the musescore.com site.
It is debatable though whether it is (still) needed...

Then I'd vote for getting rid of it. I could imagine if you used MuseScore in some new and interesting way (e.g., my textbook-formats, but that's not new any more), there should be such a place, but all it does now is collect requests for the world to look at compositions, and that's what .com is for. Posting here attracts neither a large enough nor selected enough group.

As you know, the "Oh, I didn't know they were different" problem is really difficult for newcomers, with no solution in sight, and this rarely-used vestige only adds to the confusion.
