Multi-rest measures
Been through the instructions, but cannot create a simple section like the one shown on the help page:

Are you on a single part or a score with severals staves, do you use M ??

Single part. I'm transcribing a bass line that does not come in until beat 1 of bar 9. I clicked
'multi-rest' for 8 bars, but the program will 'rest' all the bars I have on the score, I certainly do not know what I'm doing. :)

From that same handbook page:
"Note: It is recommended that you enter all notes in the score first before enabling multi-measure rests."

To be clear: enabling multimeasure rests converts all sufficiently long (as per your style setting) empty measures to multimeasure rests. So indeed, you would normally wait until you're done entering notes to do this.
