Error - Cannot upload: Not Acceptable (Instrumentation is invalid.)
When trying to update a score (Crybaby.mscz) from File > Save Online, I get this error:
I am updating a score that was originally created in Musescore 2; this current score was created in Musescore 2 then edited in Musescore 3.

Unusual, but shouldn't be a reason to deny upload.
I can upload that score, no problem with it
Might have been a glitch on musescore.com, abd you might try to report it there, like in https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/

I can upload as a new score, but I cannot update an existing score.
