Even when playback is disabled note still plays

While using the change instruments feature(Glockenspiel part) I changed to Hand Claps (Having to deal with locating the actual hand clap note) I have to have the hand clap note invisible and have the whistle (were I want the Hand clap to be) not play in the inspector, But when I press play (to play the whole score not the inspector box, You know the side ways triangle on top I had a hard time explaining that) the whistle still has play back. Even with deleting the note, the whole measure the whistle still has play back. Thanks
