How to make the open and pedal hi-hat symbol for drum set?
Hi, I am trying to figure out how to make the open hi-hat symbol that usually has a round white notehead on top of it and the pedal hi-hat symbol with plus sign on top of it.

Hi, when, in note input for a drum stave, at the bottom of the screen, you have , on the left, EDIT DRUMSET. In it, you find all the notes , clik on the open hit-hat's note, and you can change the head , also the "pitch". you find round with a cross in it. For the + I don't know

I figured it out :) You gotta add the according to symbols from master palette, and then just add them on the appropriate notes. Probably have to also adjust the y-coordinate too. Put the open circle on top of open hi-hat and put the cross on top of pedal hi-hat.

Maybe you are talking about the circle and plus symbols that some editors use? Those are found on the Articulations palette, listed as "Open" and "Muted (closed)". If you add them that way rather than as plain symbols, the default position should be good.
