Adding New Instruments Mid Score
Wondering if there's a way to add instruments to a score that start halfway through the score. For example, a solo voice starts the piece, but the choir joins in 30 measures into the piece - I don't want to waste pages by having all the choir parts blank for the first 30 measures. Is there a way to have those other parts first appear at measure 30?

Enter choir notes as for a normal staff, then....
Select menu item: Format→Style…→Score
Click 'Hide empty staves within systems'.

The first row still appears on the first page.

This is because it is useful to know all of the instruments of a score without having to look into the score. I don't recommend removing the first row.
