3.5 alpha startup indication in splash screen

• May 9, 2020 - 14:25

OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.0.11614, revision: 1ee2fe3

Now we have some indication of what is happening behind the scenes while the splash screen is displayed I noted that for something like 50% of the start up time the indicator says "Restoring session". This is on a "clean" start from a desktop shortcut after a previous normal exit (click on x at top right of window). Looking in preferences I don't have the "Continue last session" selected. Is this expected behaviour? Does this indicate that there is an opportunity to reduce startup times if there is no need to restore a session?

"Restoring session" is just the last such message, presumably it does some more steps without printing them.

Actually there is more steps after that: "Load scores", "Initializing start center…", "Initializing tours…", of course only if there are score to load, startcenter and tours are not disabled.
