Edit string data table. Enharmonic equivalents.

Nice, elegant software, just getting started with it. I've searched the forums I think in depth, but found nothing about respelling notes in the 'edit string data table'. Is this possible? I'm able to make changes in my custom tuning column, but unable to apply. For example When changing Ab to G#, 'apply' changes it back to Ab. Not a deal breaker but it makes for extra work when attempting tablature/note synch. Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Not sure what your issue is from your initial post. Do you want to alter the actual frequency of the pitches so that Ab and G# sound at different pitches during playback, or are you having problems with the program naming a particular black key on a midi keyboard the 'wrong' way, and thus printing it on the 'wrong' line/space?

Thanks very much for your reply. I think the second portion of it might be getting close to what my issue is. I'm attempting to create an 8 string tuning, the name of which is 'E13'. It is spelled low to high E, G#, D, F#, G#, B, C#, E. However, when I attempt to edit string data, G# doesn't appear to be listed on the 'Note Selection' page. The black key between G and A on a midi keyboard as I understand it can be designated as G# or Ab. Is this not correct?
