Variable Pedal Marks (1.0,WindowsXP)
Can I add variable (sustain) pedal marks with MuseScore? The older Ped. and asterisk notation is to large for frequent pedal work

If you right-click the pedal line and choose line properties, you can choose 'text' under begin (keep it blank) and select 'hook' under begin and change its value to -1.50. Although this is tedious, it can be done.

The Handbook entry you want is called Line . And yes, an index would be nice, because that's not very obvious.
