Notes bunching up in bar

When I start inputting notes via my MIDI keyboard, the first four notes all bunched up together. Before I loaded MuseScore onto my computer that I use to play my MIDI keyboard through, I tested it on another computer I have. There was no problems with notes bunching up, so I am assuming something must not be set correctly. Has anyone experienced this ? I do not know what to look for to correct it.
