Single Instrument
Im writing a piece with several different instruments. How can i make it so i can hear only one or two of them at a time during the playback without the others interfering?

As I just discovered, goto Display/Mixer or press F10. Check the MUTE box for the instruments you don't want, or the SOLO to only listen to that instrument.
