Super Simple Switch

A super simple switch for the UI.

Mainly for Kids...

Only a basic set of notes and rests....
Larger zoom by default
Selection of notes by 'Julie Andrews' technique (and normal)
Lots of Color Coding and the ability to print those colors out

Why is music just black and white ?..... Lets make it more fun for the kids. Panel drag and drop is a excellent start !

Im not talking about introducing major features.... mainly reducing the UI to primary functions, descriptions and layout....

Yeh......

I know the aim for MuseScore is to grow into a Major music typesetting app.... However .. By using that power to narrow music creation into what would effectively be a 'Multiple Choice' primary interface you may well win a new army of fans.

Its VERY difficult to be successfully as simple as possible. Simplicity requires some real power beneath the face... MuseScore obviously has that potential. ... and simply by a new config file, some colors and removing many options to dumb down the UI.... possibly add some graphics to aid selection.

Anyone seen Tux Paint ? ....... "it rocks !" .... said my 6 yrOld Niece ("much better than what we have at school")... Lets see that multi gigabyte processing power used to generate a similar responce from a 6 year old in the music creation branch of software development.

Less is more !
