Spinning beach ball
My machine details are:
Macbook Pro
Late 2011
2.8Ghz core i7
8GB mem
OSX el Capitain 10.11.4
I installed Musescore. On opening, the beach ball continued to spin. "not responding" in Force Quit.
I trashed the programme, and installed a second time.
Same "freeze" event.
Any advice on what to do to install the software successfully?

Success! When the pane to "revert to factory settings" comes on screen, the option is to select "yes" or "no". The correct option is "Yes". The software then works as expected.
