Embellishments and alterations
Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to highlight one or more alterations in the writing of an embellishment, without using a method such as user-unfriendly that I used in the example that I enclose. In my case, I want to highlight an F # in a group.
Sorry for my english, but I'm using Google translate.
Regards,
Edward.

It looks like you created hidden rests and a hidden note, then attached your accidental to the hidden note. That works, but it's definitely more work than you'd like. Luckily, there is a much easier way. Just hit "Z" to bring up the "symbol" palette, then you can drag an accidental anywhere you like. The only issue is that there doesn't appear to be a way to control the size. So another option would be to create Staff Text, use F2 to bring up the Text Symbol palette, and enter your accidental that way. Then you'd be able to resize it like any other text.
