key signatures
I use Version 1.0.
When I create a new document in G, the score comes up with two sharps (i.e. it creates the document in D). The other keys seem to work OK. Any suggestions - apart from deleting the unneeded sharp?

You aren't by any chance creating this score for french horn, or some other instrument with that transposition? Creating a score for a non-transposing instrument like piano, I don't see any problems creating scores in G.

Yes, I was creating it for the horn, so you are probably right.
