Piano with Instrument sound?
I somehow opened up a window with a piano at the left side of the window. The rest of the window was a blue grid. I was working on a trumpet part while I was doing this, and the piano was playing trumpet sounds when I clicked on it. How would I open this for other instruments??
Note: This was on a conductors score for concert band.

I guess you are talking about the the piano roll editor, which you can access via the right click menu for a staff. But it's not really meant for ordinary note input. Instead, if you wish to use a piano keyboard rather than the computer keybaord, see View / Piano Keyboard. This is designed for direct input of notes; the piano roll is designed more for tweaking various playback parameters.
