When will new nightly builds start showing up again?
I like testing the new features but don't recompile. I can understand that the product is undergoing significant changes and is possibly very unstable, but as soon as you have some new nightly build could you make them available?

I use the linux ones
I presume he means for Windows - it wasn't until the other day one for Mac was uploaded.
Think David (who compiles them) might be on holiday.

I figured that was likely but when I checked I hadn't seen a new Mac version either. I had assumed the nightly previews were suspended for a while until some of the new stuff started to be more stable.

I build the Windows ones for myself, and considered putting them up on my site only when David is not available to upload them, but somehow I doubt management would approve of this move.

Well I noticed that the team members that work in one area (Mac, PC, Linux) all put the builds up on their own schedule. That is the nature of it all, but isn't there any way to automate some of that? I am patient and can wait but I haven't seen a Windows nightly for a while.

Before, I thought they were automatic. Could be a good idea, but each one might need intervention (plus, it might be felt the revision isn't suitable for testing)?

It seems to me that the linux ones are automated on a local basis
It happens sometimes that something goes wrong. Then I mail the maintainer, and he fixes.
