Better way to delete note in the SATB

I have created SATB staff. I then copy paste from bracketed staff to the new created SATB staff. Now I am deleting the note one by one with mouse and keyboard. I tried to use Shfit and clicking the next note but it highlighting the whole measure.

Is there a better way in doing this?

Thank you.

That's not what's happening for me. See the attachment for a three-step example.

From your screenshot it simply looks like everything went one semitone up. To fix this, select the first note in the soprano staff, then hold the Shift key on your keyboard and click the last note. Now release the Shift key and press the down arrow once.

It could be that your original staff is from a transposed instrument and MuseScore keeps the actual pitch the same when pasting into a non-transposed instrument.
If you could share the score (attach it to a post here) we can probably tell you exactly why this is happening.

None of your original instruments are transposing, so no it doesn't. Starting from the linked score also works correctly for me.
At this point I'd guess you accidentally pressed the up/down arrows after the explode, resulting in the transposition.

Also note, as mentioned over there, that the original setup of your score is not how one would normally notate a choir+piano score. In the future, it might be easier when creating a new score to use the appropriate template if it exists.
