Gongs
So apparently there's no standard gong sound in Musescore.
It's really frustrating searching for gong sounds for the program, and everything is either coming up as "tuned gongs" or "tubular bells."
I just want a sound for one of the large, single-hit gongs, not this tuned crap.
Why is there not a regular gong option in MuseScore 2? Why?

Probably because there is no 'standard' gong in General MIDI.
Because there is currently no sample for it in the default soundfont, due t0 it being designed as a GM soundfont.
If you can supply a suitably licensed gong sample I will include it.
Suitably licensed means MIT, public domain or another Open Source compatible licence.
