how to add double stave systems to a lead sheet single stave score
I am writing out a lead sheet for Chick Corea's Spain which is mostly single
stave (treble clef) systems but want to mix in some double stave systems
(treble & bass clef) at the beginning of the A & B sections, then go back to
single stave systems. How can I add in double stave systems to a mainly
single stave score? I tried making a separate double stave score then
copying/pasting those systems into the lead sheet but it only would bring the
treble clef parts. Very frustrating, please help.

Add the second staff, add the notes, and when you are done, go to Style / General and turn on the "Hide empty staves" option (possibly also turning off "Don't hide empty staves in first system").
