BUgs?

When I open my last project some time signatures and bar lines will appear in the middle of measures. Also, there will appear rests on top of a measure that changes the way it plays back. Often, after using the program, Microsoft (Windows7) sends a message that it is having a problem with the program and shuts Musescore down. Every time I open my project, I know that it will be altered from what I saved and closed previously. Please help. I have 40 plus hours on this string quartet.

First, keep a copy of your project in its current state. Second, which version of MuseScore are you using? On which platform (Windows, Mac, Linux...) Can you attach your file for further investigation?

Hi,
Thanks for the offer to help. I'm using the latest musescore. I don't know the version...downloaded it a few days ago. The operating sys is Windows 7. I cleaned up the score since writing you, saved, closed, reopened, and noticed that my score was corrupted again. rhythms were changed, time sigs appeared in between measures. I tried to send score as an attachment in the email, but it was returned. I many cases, you wouldn't know if the rhythms were changed. FWIW, The music is complex... frequent meter changes, etc.
Thanks again.

Thanks for all your help. I may have it. My score is a still mess, but the last fix attempt may have done it. Here it is. ! changed settings to allow program to" run as an administrator" and when you rt. click on desktop icon also click: run as Administrator
For my last edit, I re-saved to documents with a 1a title. When I called this up later, the score was as I saved it previously. Hopefully, this will fix it. I'm enjoying this program.
Thanks again
