Count-in metronome plays on loop repeats. It seems likely that the intent was to play only the first time, as found with most playback tools. Consider a) changing it to play only the first time, b) play only the first time when the entire piece is selected for the loop, c) making "count-in every loop" an optional behavior via a global setting, or d) providing two count-in toggles ("count-in once," "count-in every loop"). The first (a) seems adequate.
