"Beam Properties" do not work
I wanted to change a beam so it went on for the whole measure instead of splitting it in half. I did as the handbook told me and dragged the "beam middle" to the note. This, however, did not affect the beam in any way.
Did I do something wrong, or is this a bug?

Click on the note (on right);
Double-click on the "beam middle" symbol.

Also make sure you're applying it to the correct note.
If the next note is still set to no beam or start beam, then you wouldn't see a difference.
