too much auto adjustment of hairpins beginning/end with dynamic text when open old score in 3.0

• Aug 1, 2016 - 05:24

I believe this glitch results from 3.0 code for auto adjustment of hairpins that start or ends with dynamic text.

If I am running latest nightly aeddd33 and open this score saved in 2.0.3: dyanmics_saved_in_203.mscz then the resulting score has hairpins whose horizontal position is adjusted way too far in meas 27, 33, 34, 54 61, and 67-68, so far that they appear in a completely different measure. (I don't know why meas 51-53 hairpins weren't affected.)

I consider this a bug.

FYI, the score was made in linux x86-64 (I think 2.0.2, since my friend made the score), and I removed all notes because I didn't want to post his notes online, and I opened the score in 2.0.3 windows 10 to save since I don't have 2.0.2 on my computer now.

Please use the tech preview forum for discussion about the future MuseScore 3. This is confusing for newcomers. (I moved the topic)

hmm...I'm not sure I can confidently say that that issue code is causing this, the reason I say that is becaue I notice the hairpin at the end of meas 34 top staff doesn't have beginning or ending dynamic text...

interestingly, all the hairpins seem to correct themselves when I switch from Page View to Continuous View, and remain fixed when go back to Page View.
