Usb keyboard

Hello. I am wanting to use a casio wk 200 keyboard with musescore to input notes. I have used a usb to usb cable (not midi to usb ) to connect it to my computer. Musescore, however, does not respond. I am in note entry mode and i have midi turned on in musescore. I press a button and nothing happens. How do I connect and use this keyboard?
