Right click->bar properties-> uncheck 'visible'?
Can you explain in more detail what you mean? There are several different ways of hiding things in MuseScore - the "hide empty staves" facility, the "parts" facility, marking staves invisible in the instrument list, or making individual measures invisible. Depending on what you are trying to actually accomplish, one of these should do what you want easily.
