Soundfonts
I am trying to download mschorsch's drumline soundfont but when the directions say to go to the musescore/templates directory, I have no idea how to find this. Can someone tell me how to find this directory? Thanks.

MIke Schorsch's Drumline soundfont is included in the default soundfont since MuseScore 2.0.3
So why are you trying to download it again???
Also if you use the instructions supplied on his website you will almost certainly break your MuseScore 2 installation.
Those instructions are for MuseScore 1.x and earlier.
