Irish rolls
I love this software. I've been working in ABC format, but MuseScore lets me do much more, except for one thing—ornamentation.
In Irish and Scottish trad, there is an ornament called a "roll," especially in the fiddle, but also in whistle/flute, uillean pipes, etc. Is there any chance of including rolls in the articulation menu? It would be a great help.

The symbol that looks like an "S" on its side is the conventional symbol for a roll.
The roll takes up the time of a dotted quarter note. This is how it is played on the E string of a fiddle if one were to write out all the notes. But the notes other than the main one (E in this case) are not really sounded. The movement involved is more of a flick of the finger.
There is a similar glyph in the Master Palette called a "turn." Would this produce the result I'm looking for?

While looking for the information to answer your questions, especially the one about the glyph, I figured out how to make use of the turn/roll. It involved turning on the advanced palette, which I hadn't thought to do before. And it works.
