SHA256 checksum is wrong for the latest Musescore update (2.0.3.1, Mac)

• Oct 6, 2016 - 11:25

Hello crews,

I've just found out that the checksum for the latest Musescore update - 2.0.3.1 for Mac - mismatches the checksum shown in the browser window. I'll therefore postpone the installation of this update until this issue is resolved/clarified.

I calculate the checksum of the downloaded Musescore package as follows:

openssl dgst -sha256 MuseScore-2.0.3.1.dmg

It shows me the following checksum:

a166a21bf6259331a42b3a5ed73cfb69f653095a27a676fbf94a747d98153b29

While downloading, the Musescore site displays another checksum (for the same package?):

SHA256 Checksum: ba50b2a8885d70ad9447154ef587f2496d21e474d90432be2db17e9cd29d951f

What's wrong?

Thank you in advance!
Best regards
Max
