Unfortunately the Orchestral Gong is missing from the General MIDI percussion list IIRC.
In my backing track programming days I used to use the crash cymbal pitch shifted about 3 octaves down with System Exclusive messages, but the TimGM6Mb Soundfont may not have this facility.
Since there is no gong in the GM standard, most of the GM-compatible sondfonts will lack this sound, but I suspect if you google "soundfont gong", you'll eventually find one that will work, and you can then install that. MuseScore is happy to use any soundfont you tell it to use, whether GM-compatible or not. You just might have to customize your instruments.xml file to get the proper sounds lined up with the proper instruments. Or just change each stave's instrument manually using the Mixer.
