Coda sign crash

I am doind a fairly complex score for 5 instruments, including claves. I had placed a coda sign previously, which was being ignored.

I decided to alter the score and place the coda sign in a new place. I had no trouble deleting the old coda sign, but when I try to drag the coda sign from the pallette to a new positio, crash.
