bars per line
I'm a complete newcomer to Musescore and am strugghling to find out how to specify the number of bars per line - at the moment I am getting different numbers of bars per line. I want each line to have exactly 8 bars, no more nor less.
Can somebody tell me how to get the same number (8) of bars on every line?

click Style, Edit General Style, System. Change the value in Fix number of measures/system to 8.

and it works quite well.
However Marc Sabatella wrote a plugin that is much easier and more flexible. (Look in plugins> Break every x measures.
If you want the whole piece to be a set number of bars/system, you need not select any bars. However, you can decide, section by section, how to divide them by selecting the bars you want to work with and then going to the plugin. This has saved me a great deal of effort and I applaud it. Thanks.
