Can't input # sharp sign into chord symbols using MAC
Using a UK language MAC I cannot input a sharp sign into a chord name, eg F# is not possible. I have changed keyboard language to US English, I can then input the sharp sign as text but NOT into a chord symbol. Unless I can sort this MuseScore is no good for me :-( anyone help pls?

Can you try entering your # with Alt + 3 ?
Apparently, it's more a mac issue than a MuseScore issue. Is Mac no good for you? ;)

Hi,
thanks for the help. Yes that works in other mac applications (eg excel or word), but not in musescore :-( .
Any other thoughts MUCH appreciated

What MacOS are you using? Also your MuseScore version. Let's try to reproduce it.
