Trunk stability R4994

• Nov 16, 2011 - 20:56

It used to be that just looking the wrong way at MS 2.0 would make it crash. I used to see it go down when it was idle. Lately the stability has improved dramatically, and I feel confident enough to really use it again and not just for experimenting and debugging.

Even loading old 1.0 and older 2.0 scores has improved a lot. I've only had one crash today and that was an already reported issue (Reload). Bravo!!!

Some good test scores I use for checking the latest trunk builds were posted by Miwarre a few months ago. Here's the forum posts:

Some are written in v2.0 format, and so test the latest v2 builds for backwards compatilbilty. Others are v1.0. There are even much older postings containing entire symphonic sections in versions predating 1.0 which are good for testing. For now, it is the v2 ones that are now being rendered much better, almost as when they were posted.
