Every action moves the page
Every action I put on the page moves it. Whether it's placing a note or shifting a dynamic over, it shifts it one a measure and back. I have no idea what to use and it is extremely annoying and impedes my work.
Edit: Even saving shifts it.

Which version of MuseScore are you using? On which operating system? What's your screen resolution, your zoom level and can you make a screen capture of the full screen?
What do you mean by "shift"? Do you mean one some given line of music contains, say, five measures, but then if you do anything, that fifth measure jumps to the next line, shifting everything else further as well, and then the next action you do puts things back again, and it keeps going back and forth?
This sort of thing has been known to happen in previous versions of MuseScore due to a number of underlying issues with calculating the sizes of measures, but the current version (2.0.3) should be relatively free of these problems. If you're having an issue like that in 2.0.3, please attach the specific score so we can investigate.
Meanwhile, the workaround would probably be to lock in your line breaks - run Edit / Tools / Add/Remove Line Breaks and choose the option to lock in existing breaks.
