System spacing
I'm writing a piano trio and want the violin and cello system spacing to be smaller than the cello and piano spacing (score order is violin cello piano). Is there a way to have different distances between parts or do they all have to be the same. I'd prefer not to have to do it with spacers

Unfortunately, no way to do this currently except system by system with spacers, but it looks like 2.0 will provide a better way.
Another workaround you could try for current versions - try setting the spacing to be the smaller value, then add an invisible lyrics below the first syllable in the staff below which you apwant more space. You might need to p,ay with the lyric settings, or add multiple verses, to get what you want, but it might prove easier to get consistent spacing this way.
