tremolo + articulations

I am sure I have seen this feature before, but I can't find it now that I am looking for it. I need to notate a passage of repeated quavers, which has been notated in the composer's manuscript as minums (o halb notes) with a tremolo bar. Each minum has four staccato marks on it as well as a slur to indicate bow vibrato, or up/down bow staccato. Is it possible to do such a thing, or will I need to completely write out all the quavers?

"In a two note tremolo, every note has the value of the whole tremolo duration. To enter a tremolo with the duration of a half note (minim), enter two normal quarter notes (crotchets), and after applying a tremolo symbol to the first note, the note values automatically double to half notes."

I followed these instructions exactly and I now have one quarter note with a tremolo symbol, and one without. The note value did not automatically double.

It is in the master palette under symbols. Scroll way down. Be patient and you find double, triple and quadruple staccato. How you add your slur easily I would'nt know (you generally want two notes or more for a slur and I understand that there may be trouble with slurs that are attached only on one side). It gets complicated and tedious: You'd have to add silent, invisible notes just as attachment points and then move the slurs (every single one) into the position you need it.
