Musescore's tempo is wrong
So I am working on cleaning up an arrangement of a song I received and the song is in 4/4 time and is performed at 63bpm . My issue is that I put 63bpm in musescore on the first note and it plays it at around half the speed. I put it at 126 and it plays it at the correct speed but its sort of annoying to have it wrong. Are there any fixes for this?

You probaly set the speed set to 50% in the Play window in an effort to slow down playback before you set the tempo via the tempo text. Set the speed in the Play window back to 100% and then the tempo you set in the tempo text will be honored correctly.

You were correct but this was the first time I had ever opened musescore on my computer I am using (I have used it before on my other computer that died). Sorta weird if you ask me
