How do I add additional melody notes into the second verse of a song
Hi All,
I am new to this but doing quite well for a musician of limited ability i.e. I just strum guitar and sing. However, most of the pieces I am working with have extra melody notes required for the words of the second verse. The professional score I am working from have these on the stave in smaller font size than the verse one melody line. How do I do this please?

Enter the extra notes in a separate voice: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices
When you have done use ctrl+select to select these notes, right click to enter the Note Properties dialog, tick the box marked Small, click OK and it should be done.
