Shortcut problems

• Dec 9, 2016 - 14:35

There are several shortcuts that are problematic in the default preferences in MS 2.0.3. For example, Home is defined to go to the top of the page and the beginning of the score for playback. End goes to the bottom of the page and the end of the playback area. Which one will it do the next time you press it? I believe this is why I was having problem with F2 until I deleted one of the shortcuts. F2 is defined to transpose the entire score up 1/2 step and bring up the special characters dialog.

I have a PDF of my Shortcuts. I added the shortcuts that add a note below the selected note, such as alt-@ to add a note a second below the selected note. I also removed F2 from transposing the score so it will only bring up the special characters. There are several of other shortcuts I defined, but I made sure they don't interfere with anything else.

What does not exist is the ability to move to the top staff or even the previous staff without changing measures with a shortcut.

Assign a shortcut to "Previous stave or voice" and "Next stave or voice". Both available in 2.0.3.
