MIDI Issues
Two issues with MIDI. Scores will either...
-Not allow for any MIDI input when note entry mode is on
-Spazz out when a chord is played during note entry and not allow for any additional MIDI input
Throughout all these processes, as long as note entry mode isn't on, all the notes played through MIDI are sounding, so there's no issue with the MIDI connection/reception. It's definitely a software-specific issue.

In order to help, we would need you to attach the score you are having trouble with and give precise steps to reproduce the problem. In general, nothing about scores created by importing MIDI files should prevent the ability to edit or change anything about how MIDI input works.
