Virtual MIDI Keybpard

I have tried to download a virtual MIDI keyboard and try to input notes into MuseScore , sadly, nothing happens, hope someone can help me to figure it out. Add, i found that in the connection part of the keyboard, there is Input MIDI Connection and Output MIDI connection where no selection in the first but "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth".

To help you we should know exactly what keyboard you download?

They are not all parameterizable to communicate with another program, which can only send their data to an onboard synthesizer or sound card and may not be suitable for your use.
