Suggested way to get Musescore settings into nightly build

• Dec 25, 2016 - 10:18

I have done some testing on nightly builds and judged it reasonably stable. So I want to use my old settings from Musescore 2 with the current nightly. I have found the place where to put my shortcuts.xml file. But there are still some settings that I haven't synchronized, yet. Is there a suggested way for taking all/most of the settings to the test versions?
Besides the shortcuts I'm thinking about Soundfonts settings and user palettes.
Are there any other files that you'd propose to take over to the test versions?

I'm currently testing with Musescore on Windows 10.

It's definitely not stable in the sense that you can expect scores created today to still open correctly in builds from, say, a month or two from now. But sure, stable enough to test with. So do keep that in mind - just because it doesn't crash often doesn't mean it is "stable" in the sense of ready for use in real work.

Anyhow, too much is different between 2.0 and the nightly builds to rely on being able to literally share the same settings. For instance, with shortcuts, you will probably find there is no way to share the shortcut for deleting measures between both versions. Palettes also are way different.
