Piano sound?
Not sure if this has already been mentioned or noticed, but this is more for my own personal satisfaction: Why is the piano on the MuseScore software so quiet? It bugs me when I try to put piano in a piece and can't hear it until i post it. Please help.

Check the Synthesizer settings (Volume).
Move the Volume slider and then use the button 'Set as Default'
Note if you don't add any dynamics to your score, the default is "mf", so the playback will be roughly only half the maximum volume you might get at "fff". So it is norml and correct that it would only sound half as loud as other music on your system that has already been compressed such that all levels already peg the maximum.
I assume, btw, you aren't saying the piano is softer than other instruments. I find it balances pretty naturally. But do check View / Mixer to see if there is some adjustment you want to make there.
Also, make sure you are using the latest version of MuseScore (2.0.3) in which the default synth volume has been slightly increased compared to the previous versions.
