Need a score with no time signature
I am new to Musescore and music notation in general. I need to create some music for chanting. I can't have a time signature because there is no real counting of beats. The measures are laid out according to textual phrasing, not number of beats. Is this possible? I can't find any way of doing it.

Welcome donbenot, Ctrl+A -> Edit -> Bar (measure)-> Join Selected Bars

Right click the staff, Staff Properties, turn off the time signature. Then use the Join and Split commands in Edit / Measure to combine things as needed.
