Delete multi-measure rests

Thanks for previous help. Another query:
When I highlight a measure with a multi-measure rest in it, it only deletes one measure at a time, (ie reduces the count by 1). How can I delete all of them at once?

Break the multi-measure rest and then select all the bars you want to delete,

Style> Edit general style.
