Import music from Finale12 and instrument sound different
Hi,
I exported a basic piece from Finale12 via XML and imported into Muscore. I also copied the soundfont from Finale and set it into Muscore.
In play back, the piece sound different. Specially the Pick bass has a different pitch and the attack is soft compared to what it should be. I played with the Mixer but that did not helped
What could be the solution to this?

Difficult to say without seeing the file and knowing what version you are using.
But FWIW, MuseScore and Finale use entirely different sound formats. There is no way to copy a soundfont from one to the other. So that is likely to be the issue right there. MuseScore by default uses a soundfont thast adheres to the General MIDI standard. If the sounds you were using in Finale are not General MIDI compatible, that could be the problem right there.
